Dear Patients,

With a heavy heart, I am announcing my intention to leave as a practicing physician from Women’s Health Specialists of North Texas effective June 15, 2024. This decision was difficult and multifactorial with both business and personal aspects contributing. As some of you know, my mother has a terminal neurologic disorder and is nearing the end of her time. For the near future, I will be working at the hospital in labor and delivery which allows a more predictable life and schedule that I feel is necessary at this time.

The established physicians here at Women’s Health Specialists are welcoming new patients from my practice. These physicians include Dr. Davis, Dr. Brumley, Dr. Kindred, and Dr. Morehead. If you would like to learn more about them, you may visit whsnt.com/doctors. The office intends to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Should you choose another physician outside of Women’s Health Specialists and would like to obtain a copy of your medical records, a copy may be requested with signing an authorization of release of records obtained from our office or the office of the new doctor.

It has been a pleasure and privilege to be involved in your lives as your physician and friend. I wish you all the very best.

Late Policy

If you are an Established patient and you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment with the provider or the ultrasound technician, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment unless the schedule can accommodate you. If you are a New patient and you arrive AT the scheduled appointment time and you have not completed the required forms in advance, you may also be asked to reschedule. A $50 cancellation fee may be assessed for any appointment that is not kept.

No Show Policy

We require a notification at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment. There will be a $50 cancellation for any appointment that is cancelled less than 24 hours or if you do not show up for your appointment.

To All of Our Patients:

Effective September 1, 2022, we will no longer accept AFTER-HOURS phone calls to the on-call physician. If you have a non-emergent need, please call our office, or reach out through the patient portal during the normal business hours of 8am to 5pm. If you have an urgent OBSETRICAL NEED or think you are in LABOR, please go to LABOR AND DELIVERY TRIAGE for evaluation. If you have an emergent issue, please call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest Emergency Room.
